Membership in PEOPLE can be attained in different ways:

1. The easiest way to join is through payroll deduction for PEOPLE Check-Off. Your contribution is then deducted from your paycheck throughout the year. To participate in PEOPLE Check-Off you must have specific language in your collective bargaining agreement that states that your employer agrees to make this deduction.
   
   
2. If your contract does not yet have PEOPLE Check-Off language, you can sign up for PEOPLE by direct contributions. These voluntary contributions can be made by personal check, money order, cash or credit card.
   
   
3. You can sign up for Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT's) through your credit union account or regular checking or savings account.
   
   
4. Or you can sign up by Credit Card which charges your monthly deduction to your VISA, MasterCard, or Discover card.

Choose to become an MVP (Most Valuable PEOPLE) member with an annual contribution of $100. You will receive premiums offered in the program according to your year of membership PLUS the special (one-time only) green MVP PEOPLE jacket.

Choose to become an MVP Gold member with an annual contribution of $250. You will receive premiums offered in the program according to your year of membership PLUS the special (one-time only) green MVP PEOPLE jacket and the MVP Gold Women’s or Men’s AFSCME Watch.

You can join at the MVP Platinum level with an annual contribution of $500. You will receive premiums offered in the program according to your year of membership PLUS the special (one-time only) green MVP PEOPLE jacket, a MVP Gold Women’s or Men’s AFSCME Watch, and the MVP Platinum Leather and Wool AFSCME PEOPLE jacket.
